Research Profile
I am a philosopher of economics with a primary focus on methodological aspects related to the application of economics in scientific and policy contexts. In my research, I employ a blend of traditional conceptual analysis from the philosophy of science and quantitative methods from the social sciences.
Contribution to Model Transfer
In the MODEL TRANSFER project, I study how game theory transferred from mathematics to various economic domains. I investigate the bidirectional dynamics of model transfer, exploring how equilibrium concepts in game theory evolve in response to field-specific challenges. Additionally, my inquiry extends to probing the conceptual ties between behavioral and neoclassical economic models, investigating whether the introduction of psychological theories into economic models may be construed as scientific progress.
